Help Nurses Deal with Disaster Relief
In any tragedy, a nurse's first question is "How can I help?" In response to your outpour of support, the American Nurses Foundation has created a broader "Disaster Relief" fund.
100% of the funds raised will support nurses in their disaster response and recovery efforts in Texas, the Virgin Islands, Florida & other states affected by recent disasters.

The Texas Nurses Foundation is taking contributions to help the nurses affected by Hurricane Harvey. All money collected will be distributed directly to nurses living in any one of the Texas counties declared disaster areas. Donate here
The amount of money distributed to each nurse requesting assistance will be determined by the amount of money collected beginning August 29, 2017 and ending November 30, 2017. Any funds remaining in the fund by March 31, 2018 will be donated to the Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund established by the city of Houston.

ANA Massachusetts Supports Legitimately Licensed Nurses

In light of events highlighting the discovery of people posing as nurses applying for reciprocity to practice nursing in Massachusetts, ANA Massachusetts applauds the efforts of the State Board of Registration in Nursing to root out and find others who are putting the citizens of Massachusetts at risk.
The Leadership Team and all members of ANA Massachusetts firmly believe that the quality of care provided by more than 100,000 registered nurses in Massachusetts is among the best in the nation but support the institution of stronger processes that insure the integrity of the licensure process for the men and women who are part of the most respected and trusted professionals in the US.
