Spring 2019 Conference

Responding to Rising Challenges in Nursing and Healthcare
Friday, March 29, 2019

Royal Sonesta Boston/Cambridge, MA

8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This year’s conference boldly addresses how we are responding to rising challenges in nursing and health care – addressing nursing resiliency in the face of the opioid crisis and violence against nurses, and focusing clinically on concussion management and weight stigma.  Attendees are also encouraged to share their knowledge and expertise related to innovations in practice, education, research, management, and/or leadership, as well as projects which have resulted in improvements in patient care and outcomes, nurse competencies and/or delivery systems.

NEW THIS YEAR – INTERACTIVE POSTER PRESENTATION SESSION

Conference participants are encouraged to submit abstracts for poster presentations. Posters will be displayed in the Exhibitor area to maximize visibility and interaction with conference participants. ANA Massachusetts requests that, at a minimum, poster presenters be available during registration and all scheduled breaks to field questions and discuss their work with conference participants.

We will have a scheduled Interactive Poster Presentation Session from 2:45-3:45 pm where the primary author(s) will provide a BRIEF overview followed by a participant question and answer period. Estimated time for each poster overview at this writing will be 2-5 minutes and will be contingent upon the number of abstracts accepted. Authors of accepted poster abstracts will be updated regarding this closer to the time of the conference. The session will conclude with an announcement of the results of the electronic voting for the top three poster presentations and recognition awards to the winners!

Abstract submission Deadline: Friday, February 1, 2019

NOTE: First Author receives a discounted conference rate of $129.00.
