Important information for APRN prescribers - Rescheduling of Hydrocodone Combination Products
The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) published in the Federal Register the final rule placing Hydrocodone (Trade Names: Vicodin®, Lortab®, Lorcet-HD®, Hycodan®, Vicoprofen®) into schedule II of the Federal Controlled Substances Act. The change was effective October 6, 2014.
