That means our veterans could get access to more providers, faster, without having to jump through hoops. It's past time for the VA to let APRNs do the jobs they're trained, qualified, and ready for.
The health care needs for our country's veterans are urgent, and growing. The VA's new proposal would help close the gap between the care we can provide, and the care these heroes deserve. APRNs serving throughout the VA system will finally be allowed to do what they have trained to do – provide timely, efficient care for every patient that they treat.
The VA is only accepting public comments for a short time – and they need to know that you support lifting barriers that prevent APRNs from practicing to their full scope.
