ANA MASSACHUSETTS TESTIFIES BEFORE JOINT COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC HEALTH

SEPTEMBER 25, 2019

 

MILTON, MA – The American Nurses Association Massachusetts (ANAMASS) testified yesterday before the Joint Committee on Public Health. President Julie Cronin, RN, spoke to HB1941/SB1345 An Act establishing a commission on quality patient outcomes and professional nursing practice. "Appropriate nurse staffing is vital to overall patient outcomes including decreased adverse events, decreased readmissions and increased patient satisfaction. Establishing a commission will mean working together with key stakeholders at the table to examine and understand issues of concern for nurses and to provide evidence-based recommendations and solutions that are agreed upon by all members on behalf of the nursing profession"...Full Press Release, click here.
