We're going the extra mile this Election Day

When nurses take on a job, they make sure it's done right.

This year, one of the biggest jobs of all is making sure nurses get out and vote on Election Day –
so please take two minutes right now and make sure you’re registered to vote!

As a reminder, September 27th was National Voter Registration Day, and Americans across the country are registering to cast their ballot this Election Day. But registering is only the first step, and I know nurses always want to go the extra mile to get the job done right.

If you're already registered to vote and you want to make sure the nursing community is heard loud and clear on November 8, here's two things you can do right now:

  1. Forward this email to your coworkers so they can check their voter registration status. It takes just two minutes to confirm they'll be able to vote in November!
  2. Sign up to be an online volunteer for ANA this October. We'll get you the tools you'll need to show Washington how powerful nurses are when they get together – and vote!

I know you're ready to show the power of nurses this election. Like so many other important jobs, doing it right means starting with simple steps, like checking your voter registration.

Not sure if you're registered? Please take two minutes and make sure you're ready for November 8!

Thank you for helping make this the biggest National Voter Registration Day yet.

I am volunteering to be a voice for nursing this election season. I urge all my colleagues to do the same
