How are you coping with your daily dose of stress? Nurses' Health Study (NHS) indicates that the longer nurses carry out rotating night shift work, the higher their chance of coronary heart disease.
Join us for the second Navigate Nursingwebinar of 2017, where we will discuss the current population health of nurses. We will also review strategies for building a culture of wellness to support nurses to engage in healthy lifestyle behaviors that can reduce their cardiovascular risk. Nurses deal with stress daily, so it's time you learn key tactics for improving your overall health and well-being.
It's time for nurses to improve awareness of health hazards related to professional practice and shift work, and learn to employ innovative strategies aimed at reducing the incidence of chronic conditions.
After attending this webinar, you will be able to:
Describe the current state of health among registered nurses in the United States and analyze recent study findings related to health risks of nurses,
Discover key strategies for promoting a health-oriented work culture,
Discuss implementation strategies for improving one's physical health to reduce risks of chronic health conditions, such as coronary heart disease, and
Much more!
Using these tactics will allow you to perform at an optimal level, which translates to safe patient care.
