For the third consecutive year, ANA President Pamela F. Cipriano, PhD, RN, NEA-BC, FAAN, has been named one of Modern Healthcare’s “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare.” This awards and recognition program honors individuals in health care who are deemed by their peers and an expert panel to be the most influential individuals in the field.
Modern Healthcare honored Dr. Cipriano on both the 2015 and 2016 “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” lists as well as the “Top 25 Women in Healthcare” list in 2015. As the 35th president of ANA, Dr. Cipriano’s achievements include national and international recognition for her work in assessing how informatics and technology advance the safety and efficiency of nursing care. She has also made significant contributions by researching ways to improve nurse work environments and develop family-centered acute care for the elderly.
The “100 Most Influential People in Healthcare” honorees come from all sectors of health care, including hospitals, health systems, physician organizations, insurance, government, vendors and suppliers, and trade, professional and patients' rights organizations.
