The ANA department of Policy and Government Affairs seeks public comment on the proposed update ofANA CorePrinciples on Connected Health. The deadline for comments is Monday, September 10, 2018, at 5:00 p.m. PDT.This is a draft updateof ANA Core Principles on Telehealth (1999), through the lens of connected health, with the continued intent to protect clients receiving health care services using connected health technologies; give health care professionals a foundation; and provide a basis for review of professional standards, clinical standards, and the need for connected health guidelines by professions and government agencies. The update was completed by a 13-member Steering Committee of nurse experts, along with the guidance of a 140+-member Advisory Committee.
