Important information from Board of Nursing: Database system upgrade

The following memo relays information regarding the data base system upgrade beginning Friday December 28, 2018 at 2pm through Monday January 7, 2019 at 10am.

During this time, licensees will not be able to APPLY for or RENEW BHPL Board licenses, including RN and LPN licenses.  

Verification (Check-a-License) will still be available with data updated as of 2pm December 28, 2018 and will be updated on January 7, 2019 at 10am.

 Please note: The Board of Registration in Nursing (Board) no longer issues paper license renewal reminders or paper licenses.  The Board will use email to communicate renewal reminders and important changes in statute, regulations and policies related to nursing.  FAILURE TO PROVIDE A WORKING EMAIL ADDRESS WILL PREVENT YOU FROM RECEIVING THESE IMPORTANT UPDATES.  Log onto https://www.mass.gov/how-to/update-your-nursing-license-information to add or change your email address.
