CDC distributes over $3B to improve US health infrastructure

The CDC is awarding over $3 billion in grants to all state, territorial and local health departments. The grants will fund efforts to build and strengthen the country's public health infrastructure and workforce, which were put under severe stress by the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said.
