Diversity, Inclusion Pave the Way to a Healthier Nation
Just
over two years ago, the National Commission to Address Racism in
Nursing (the Commission) started its consequential efforts to define and
detail racism in nursing. This landmark body, co-led by the ANA,
National Black Nurses Association, National Coalition of Ethnic Minority
Nurse Associations, and National Association of Hispanic Nurses, also
seeks to influence individual nurses, the nursing profession, and
healthcare organizations to acknowledge and act against racism.Read full ANA President’s column.
