Celebrating Changemakers: ANA Awards Funds to Fight Racism in Nursing
The National Commission to Address Racism in Nursing awarded $200,000 to 10 organizations dedicated to dismantling institutional, structural, and systemic racism in nursing. ANA provided these funds as part of its Journey of Racial Reconciliation, acknowledging past harmful practices and policies and apologizing to, seeking reconciliation with, and asking forgiveness from nurses of color.
