HPC Behavioral Health Workforce Center Advisory Group
The HPC recently launched its new Behavioral Health Workforce Center, formed in partnership with the Executive Office of Health and Human Services, to conduct research and make data-informed policy recommendations to strengthen the behavioral health workforce in Massachusetts.
The BHWC aims to improve education and training pipelines, increase diversity and cultural competency, enhance opportunities for professional growth and retain behavioral health providers in the workforce.
The HPC is requesting nominations for BHWC advisory group members to support the BHWC's research agenda and development of policy recommendations. The BHWC advisory group will convene providers, patient representatives, industry experts, policymakers and community advocates to provide behavioral health workforce expertise and diverse perspectives to the BHWC.
More information, including nominee criteria, the submission process and the required nomination form, can be found on the HPC's website. Nominations will be accepted through Friday, November 15.
