The Nursing Archives Associates of the Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center at Boston University is pleased to announce the 2026 Sarah B. Pasternack Nursing Student Essay Contest. Sarah Pasternack, MA, RN served as the President of the Nursing Archives Associates for more than 20 years. She received the Living Legend Award from the ANA Massachusetts in 2014. Sarah was an Assistant Professor at Boston University School of Nursing and a Nursing Patient Services Director and an Advanced Practice Nurse in Patient Safety and Quality at Boston Children’s Hospital
